These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Appearance mobile application (“Service”) operated by Appearance Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
Appearance is an AI-powered appearance platform that enables you to visualise hairstyle and grooming changes, build a professional appearance portfolio, and share technical specifications (Barber Briefs) with stylists. The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate visualisations based on your photographs and preferences.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
You retain ownership of all photographs and content you upload to the Service (“User Content”). By uploading User Content, you grant Appearance Ltd a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. We will not use your User Content for marketing or share it publicly without your explicit consent.
The Service generates AI visualisations based on your photographs and instructions. AI-generated images are provided to you and belong to you. However, please note:

The Service integrates with third-party booking and scheduling platforms (such as Acuity Scheduling). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the practices or policies of third-party service providers.
The Appearance name, logo, design system, and underlying technology are the property of Appearance Ltd. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our branding or intellectual property beyond your normal use of the Service.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. AI visualisations are creative approximations and are not guarantees of real-world outcomes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Appearance Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
